The Championship 18 is an oasis nestled in Braemar Park surrounded by restored Oak Savannahs, mature trees and wildlife habitat. With five tee boxes, it offers a fun challenge for golfers of all ages and abilities. Braemar’s premiere practice facilities offer the best for every aspect of your game.
Over the years Braemar has been rated among the top 75 public golf courses in the nation, including #1 Public Course by Golf Digest (1984). Braemar hosted a PGA’s 1969 Minnesota Classic – one of only four PGA events hosted on a public golf course that year. Braemar has received national attention with the 1979 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship. State tournaments held at Braemar include the Minnesota Senior Open, Minnesota Public Links Championship and the Minnesota Women’s Amateur Public Links and others.
Braemar GC is home to a 68-stall driving range with over two acres of turf tee, five practice greens totaling over 31,000 square feet plus the Academy 9 Par 3 course perfect for beginners and experienced golfers alike. We also have one of the finest indoor golf domes in the region featuring Toptracer Range Technology.
“The Courtyard” at Braemar is a perfect venue for lawn games, corporate outings, family events or just an evening out with friends. Enjoy food and drink around the patio or fire pit with beautiful views of the course. Red River Kitchen is the American grill serving up favorite classics with a flare, including a wide selection of craft beer and wine. Braemar offers meeting and event spaces for events of all sizes, including a ballroom with adjacent decks and expansive views of the Championship course.
