Top Golf Courses in Minnesota

Golfweek magazine has just put out is 2012 rankings for its “Best Courses You Can Play.” Golfweek ranked courses state-by-state, and if you’re looking to plan a great golf vacation – the Minnesota courses on this list a list of must-play courses!

The Quarry at Giants Ridge, Deacon’s Lodge at Grand View Lodge, The Jewel, The Classic at Madden’s, Rush Creek and the Preserve at Grand View Lodge were also ranked in the top ten courses in Minnesota. These award-winning courses are challenging and extremely fun to play.

6) Dacotah Ridge, Morton

7) Meadows at Mystic Lake, Prior Lake

8) The Classic at Madden’s in Brainerd

9) Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove

10) The Preserve at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa

Course rankings were based on things like ease and intimacy of routing, natural setting and overall land plan, interest of greens and surrounding contours, variety of the holes, basic quality of conditioning, and landscape and tree management.
