Edinburgh USA is a great public golf course designed and created by Robert Trent Jones II and operated by the Brooklyn Park Recreation and Parks Department. It is a Scottish design with nearly 70 bunkers and 12 acres of water featuring an island fairway, a peninsula green, and one of the world’s largest putting surfaces. The 40,000 square foot triple green combines holes 9 and 18, and the practice green. In 2014, the Robert Trent Jones II company came back and we completed an amazing renovation – all new bunkers, new design which includes more fairway grass, three new greens and four new tee boxes! You must see it to believe it!
Many unique elements of this course – the winding lakes, undulating greens, beautifully manicured bentgrass fairways, the eye-catching “island hole” and mind-boggling triple green – have all helped Edinburgh USA in earning the reputation as one of the finest golf courses around!
- Golf Digest as one of “America’s Top 75 Affordable Courses”
- Golf Magazine as one of the “Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S.”
- Edinburgh USA has also hosted seven LPGA Tour events, and the 1992 U.S.G.A. Public Links Championship.
